Marketing and Commercial Activities for Industry

Christopher Calver carries out assignments to market and sell technical products and systems for European industrial companies.

Operational Assignments

These assignments usually concern the opening and developing of:

  • new geographical markets for companies in regions and countries where either they are not present or they have poor market penetration
  • new sectors in established markets
  • new routes-to-sale and new distribution channels

These assignments are accomplished in such a way that:

  • the first sales are concluded rapidly
  • a long term solid commercial client base is created
France, Spain & Portugal

Christopher Calver works out of his two offices near the French-Spanish border, one in France and one in Spain. From these offices, it is possible to work a full business day anywhere in France, Portugal or Spain and return the same day.

Omaci & Christopher Calver

Omaci is Christopher Calver and Christopher Calver is Omaci. Christopher Calver is an independent professional: he is supported by third party technical specialists if and when required.

For the third year running Christopher Calver worked on the stand of the UK company Macpactor at the French environmental exhibition Pollutec. Despite the extreme weather conditions last December which reduced the overall attendance at the event, there was a substantial increase compared to previous years in the number of visitors to the Macpactor stand. Over eighty positive contacts were made and Omaci is following up these opportunities as part of its continuing marketing and commercial support to the Macpactor company in France, Spain and Portugal.

The English company Macpactor produces accessories for compacting solid waste such as rollers, wheels, teeth for wheels and blades, all compatible with machines from major manufacturers. Omaci is assisting Macpactor to introduce their range of products into France. One of the major French waste companies has successfully carried out trials in a collection and sorting station with the Macpactor compacting roller that maximises skip payload consequently reducing transport costs by up to 75%. Also Omaci has sold five sets of the Macpactor guaranteed long-life teeth for landfill site compactors (see photograph above) to one of the major French machine rental companies specialised in the waste business.
